APPLE CRUMBLE

Ingredients

  • 4 big apples (preferably Bramley or cooking apples)
  • handful of raisins (OPTIONAL)
  • 100g butter
  • 100g sugar (brown sugar is a nice, stickier alternative)
  • 150g flour

Method

Step 1

Heat the oven - 200 degree

Step 2

Mix the sugar & the flour. Add cubes of butter and mix by hand to form a paste.

Step 3

Peel & cut the apples and put them in a greased tin / pirex dish. Add the raisins (optional). Crumble the paste on top until the apples are totally covered.

Step 4

Cook for 30 minutes until the crumble is golden.
