Banana and Chocolate Cake2014-11-06

- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 100 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 125 g raising flour
- 30 g dark chocolate finely chopped
Heat the oven to 180 c. Mash the bananas. Whisk with the eggs and the vanilla essence
in another bowl: beat together the butter and the sugar. Then add the bananas mixture. Stir in the flour. Stir in the chocolate.
Turn mixture into a greased bread tin and bake for 40 / 45 min. (if you insert a knife in the middle it should come out dry)
DID YOU KNOW? You can freeze your cake for up to 3 months. Just let it cool down and wrap into foil before freezing. When defrosting, just unwrap and leave at room temperature for about 1 hour.
