Green Lentils with diced Bacon & Carrots

Ingredients

  • olive oil dfdfdfd
  • 1 onion - finely chopped
  • 1 carrot - finely chopped
  • Diced bacon
  • Green lentils (around 200g)
  • Water
  • 1 cube of vegetable stock

Method

Step 1

Cook the carrots and onion in oil. Cover the pan and stir regularly. After about 10 minutes add the diced bacon and fry for a couple of minutes.

Step 2

Add the lentils, cover with water so that there is about 2 cm of water on top. Add the vegetable stock and simmer for 30 - 40 minutes (adding water if necessary). Stir regularly.
