Haloumi, Beans & tomato salad2015-07-30

- 250g Haloumi cheese
- New potatoes
- tomatoes (any size or shape will do)
- Green beans or broad beans
- black olives
- For the salad sauce: mix olive oil, cider vinegar, finally cut fresh onions, a tsp of honey (optional), salt and pepper
Put potatoes in cold water and bring to boil for about 15-20 minutes (until soft inside). Add the beans in the last 5 minutes
Rinse the haloumi in cold water (it will taste slightly less salty). Cut in slices and grill in a pan until golden brown
Cut the olives and the tomatoes and put in a salad bowl. When the potatoes and beans are ready, rinse under cold water, cut in half and add in the salad bowl.
I put the ingredients without the sauce for the kids. For grownups I add the salad sauce and toss and then add the haloumi cheese on top.
