- 2 pears cored, peeled and cut in 4
- 200g brown sugar
- 50g unsalted butter
- 4 tbsp of flour
- 2 tsp of vanilla exctract
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 tsp of cinnamon (OPTIONAL)
Preheat oven to 180 C. Place the pear on the pastry (small ends towards the centre).
In a bowl, mix the butter and the sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs slowly until the mix is light and fluffy. Stir in the flour and vanilla extract. Pour the mix on top of the pear and add the cinnamon (optional).
Bake for 1 hour. Cool before serving.
