Tuna balls

Ingredients

  • 200g can of tuna in sunflower oil
  • 1 and a 1/2 slices of bread made into breadcrumbs
  • 50g cheddar cheese finely grated
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Sunflower oil for frying

Method

Step 1

Get a large bowl and tip the tuna and it's oil into it. Add the breadcrumbs and grated cheese. Add the beaten egg and give it a good stir.

Step 2

Roll in into 12 bite size separate balls.

Step 3

Heat the oil in the frying pan and on a medium heat fry the balls for 8-10 minutes, turning often, until they are golden brown. drain them on kitchen roll and serve.
